Singlife has extended its title sponsorship of the National League for a second consecutive year, reinforcing its commitment to grassroots netball development in the country.

The renewed partnership goes beyond the league. Singlife will also serve as title sponsor for the 29 November to 5 December Nations Cup, and will have branding and endorsement ties with the Singapore Vandas as they prepare to defend their Asian Netball Championships crown in August.

The Singlife National League 2026 kicks off on 25 May at the Kallang Netball Centre, with 92 teams competing across Women’s and Mixed categories over 10 weeks.

As part of the deal, Singlife will provide complimentary personal accident insurance coverage to all league participants.

Daniel Ho, CEO of Netball Singapore, noted the significance of the renewal in a challenging commercial climate: “Singlife’s continued partnership and the breadth of their support despite what has been a soft sponsorship market speaks volumes of their unwavering commitment to inspiring lives and building communities through sport.”

Debra Soon, Group Head of Brand, Communications, Marketing and Experience at Singlife, emphasised the company’s focus on community building: ” We believe it is important to support and build a community around local sporting talent. The Vandas have proven their capability in the international arena, but more importantly, our support is also for the Singlife National League, for the community, for girls and families supporting them. We are here to help build the ecosystem and do our part to grow the sport’s footprint in Singapore.”

Netball Rising Makes League Debut

One of this season’s standout storylines is the league debut of Netball Rising, a youth development programme backed by the President’s Challenge. Launched in 2025, the 10-month initiative by Netball Singapore provides structured coaching and competitive pathways for youths from underserved communities.

The Netball Rising players got their first taste of competitive action at the Daisy Tan Netball Carnival in April, and their step up to league competition marks a significant milestone in the programme’s growth.

“This year, we are especially proud to have Netball Rising participate in the league for the first time,” said Ho. “Their involvement reflects what the Singlife National League is about: creating opportunities for players from all walks of life.”

Netball Rising player Maryam Binte Amir said the programme has been transformative. “We’ve learnt so much over the past couple of months, both on and off the court. Being part of Netball Rising has really helped us grow as a team,” she said.

The Singlife National League runs for 10 weeks from 25 May at the Kallang Netball Centre.
