Singapore’s indoor skydiving star Kai Minejima-Lee delivered a performance for the ages, completing a perfect sweep at the FlySpot Polish Open of Indoor Skydiving 2025. The 16-year-old secured gold in all four events he entered, topping both individual and team disciplines to emerge as the most successful athlete among 232 competitors from 22 countries.
The dominant run included victories in Solo Speed, Freestyle Open, Dynamic 2-Way, and Dynamic 4-Way. It is the clearest statement yet of Kai’s meteoric rise on the world stage, following a groundbreaking 2024 season in which he became the youngest-ever World Cup Open champion.
“Winning gold in every event I entered is incredibly special,” Kai said. “The competition was fierce, especially in solo speed, where I faced 26 talented fliers.”

Kai’s achievements demonstrate both technical skill and versatility in a sport that requires precision, creativity, and athletic bravery under intense pressure.
He demonstrated his world-class individual skill to secure the Solo Speed title, then followed up with gold in Freestyle Open—his signature discipline and the same event that crowned him World Cup champion in 2024.
In team competitions, Kai demonstrated chemistry and adaptability. He partnered with French rival Adrien Gallot to win gold in the Dynamic 2-Way. He was then part of a star-studded international line-up featuring Singapore’s own world champion Kyra Poh, Italy’s Carlotta Sella, and Gallot, that delivered a commanding gold medal performance in the Dynamic 4-Way event.
“I’m also fortunate to have partnered with such amazing athletes in the team events. This clean sweep gives us tremendous momentum as we build toward future competitions,” he added.
A Rising Sport, A Rising Nation
Indoor skydiving continues to grow rapidly in Singapore, and Kai has become the face of its next generation of champions.

“Kai’s perfect sweep at the Polish Open is a testament to his dedication, skill, and the strength of Singapore’s indoor skydiving program,” said Lawrence Koh, CEO of iFly Singapore. “To emerge as the most successful athlete among 232 competitors from 22 countries is truly exceptional. His ability to excel across multiple disciplines—both individually and as a team player—embodies the values we champion at iFly Singapore. We’re proud to support athletes like Kai, who continue to elevate our nation’s standing in this sport.”
Kai was recently named the 2025 Singapore Sports Boy of the Year and is the second indoor skydiver, after teammate Poh, to receive the prestigious SPEX Scholarship, a Sport Singapore initiative that supports high-performing athletes on the international stage.
What’s Next?
After winning 17 medals and setting world and Asian records in 2024 alone, Kai has established a new standard. His journey is still in its early stages, yet his performances already foster the belief that Singapore can lead the sport on a global stage.
With world-class athletes, institutional support, and growing youth interest, Singapore continues to establish itself as a centre of excellence in indoor skydiving. Kai’s four-gold sweep isn’t just a moment of personal glory; it is a sign of how high Singapore can soar.
