Triathlon Singapore has announced its largest-ever squad for the Southeast Asian (SEA) Games, with 18 athletes set to represent the nation at the 2025 edition that will be held in Thailand in December. The line-up features a mix of seasoned campaigners and exciting debutants, underlining the sport’s growth and depth in Singapore.
On the men’s side, first-time SEA Games athletes Tey Yi Jun, Ben Khoo, Reyes Loh and Lim Cheng Yu will join established names such as Ahmad Arif (2019, 2021, 2023), Luke Chua (2021, 2023), Bryce Chong (2019, 2023), Nicholas Rachmadi (2019, 2021) and Samir Varma (2023).
The women’s roster is equally strong, also with four debutants – Jemma Hadden, Janel Susastra, Rachel Hew and Ng Xuan Jie – joining Herlene Yu (2019, 2021, 2023), Kathlyn Yeo (2023), Lim Wan Ting (2023), Louisa Middleditch (2023) and Regine Goh (2021).
The selection reflects Singapore’s expanding talent pool in multisport, with several athletes returning for their second or third, and even fourth Games, while a new generation makes its first appearance.
