Singapore tennis star Shaheed Alam once again rallied the community through sport, with his charity initiative Project Love-All raising more than S$22,000 in support of migrant workers via ItsRainingRaincoats.
First launched in 2020, Project Love-All raised over S$7,400 to deliver meals to 880 migrant workers during Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
This year’s edition, held at the Savitar Tennis Centre on 17 August, drew over 100 participants, partners, volunteers, family, and friends. Together, they raised funds to enhance the well-being and social integration of Singapore’s migrant worker community.

The event was graced by Guest-of-Honour Edwin Tong, Minister for Law and Second Minister for Home Affairs, who joined a court session with migrant workers.

Alam expressed his gratitude, “It was heartwarming to see the tennis community, partners, family, and friends come together for such a meaningful cause. The turnout and funds raised exceeded our expectations, and we would like to sincerely thank every participant, partner, volunteer and sponsor who made this event possible. This is only the beginning; I hope Project Love-All will continue to grow and support other communities in the years ahead.”
Project Love-All has become more than just a fundraising effort. It embodies inclusivity and community spirit, blending grassroots action with elite sport – a reflection of how sport can serve as a bridge between communities.
