Pets in Stripes: adidas Expands Its Originals Style to Four-Legged Fashion

adidas takes its Originals energy to the pet world with a new Fall 2025 collection in China, turning furry friends into fashion icons in stripes, vests, and windbreakers built for style and comfort.

adidas is taking its signature streetwear energy to a new frontier — the pet world. The brand just dropped a Fall 2025 Pet Collection in China, featuring windbreakers, padded vests, and track-style outfits that look straight out of an Originals lookbook — only smaller, furrier, and infinitely cuter.

It’s not adidas’ first foray into petwear. Back in May, the brand launched a China-exclusive capsule that sold out fast, hinting at just how strong the “pet lifestyle” trend has become. More than ever, owners are dressing their pets to match their own aesthetic — and brands are responding. Pets are no longer just companions; they’re co-stars in the everyday fashion story.

This new collection continues that idea, giving pets the same Three Stripes and Trefoil treatment seen on their humans. The colour palette leans classic — blacks, greys, neutrals — with clean silhouettes and technical fabrics that keep things functional. The windbreaker is water-repellent (perfect for rainy strolls), the vests are padded for warmth, and the track suits channel retro athleisure energy.

But beyond the hype, there’s something telling about adidas’ move. The brand isn’t just selling clothes for pets — it’s reinforcing a lifestyle, one that merges sport, fashion, and culture across generations, and now, species. Pets have become part of the identity equation, appearing in brand campaigns, street-style shoots, and even sneaker drops.

For now, the adidas Originals Pet Collection remains exclusive to China, with no global rollout announced yet. But given how quickly this niche is growing, don’t be surprised if you start seeing matching owner-and-pet tracksuits strutting through parks from Shanghai to Shibuya to Singapore soon.

Fashion-forward pet parents will have to keep an eye out or perhaps, a paw, for updates on international availability.
