The Sports Arina (TSA) hosted an exclusive preview of its upcoming TSA @ Jalan Kayu venue on 19 January, offering invited guests an early look at what will become the largest privately operated multi-sports facility in the Jalan Kayu area.

TSA @ Jalan Kayu is being developed as a comprehensive multi-sport and wellness hub for residents of all ages. The venue will bring together a wide range of facilities under one roof, including badminton, futsal, padel, pickleball, gymnastics, Pilates, swimming, table tennis and contrast therapy. It is positioned as a community-focused space that combines structured sports programmes with accessible recreational use.

The development will be supported by a number of established sporting organisations and athlete-led programmes that are expected to underpin the venue’s offerings once it opens. These include partnerships with Olympic champion Joseph Schooling and the Lion City Sailors Football School, reflecting TSA’s emphasis on structured pathways and long-term engagement in sport.
At TSA @ Jalan Kayu, Sports Schooling will deliver its learn-to-swim programmes through Swim Lab. The programme is designed for children aged three and above and follows a structured pathway from beginner to intermediate levels. Lessons will be held in a heated learner pool, providing a safe and comfortable environment for young swimmers.

Football development will also be a key part of the venue’s programming. Lion City Sailors Football School will run programmes at the Jalan Kayu facility for children aged four to 12. These sessions will focus on recreational and foundational development, emphasising enjoyment of the game, physical literacy, teamwork and confidence-building.

Richard Tan, owner of TSA, said: “Our partnerships with athletes like Feng Tian Wei and Joseph Schooling are rooted in a shared belief that sport should remain a lifelong pursuit.
“At TSA, we want to create meaningful opportunities for athletes to continue fostering their careers while inspiring the community around them. Everything we build is guided by our ‘Game For Life’ philosophy — delivering happiness, health, and connection through sport.”
The preview was also attended by Mr Ng Chee Meng, adviser to Jalan Kayu Grassroots Organisations. He said: “The Sports Arina @ Jalan Kayu is more than just a sports venue – it is more importantly a gathering place for our residents to come together, stay active and build bonds. By bringing high-quality facilities into the heart of our community, I would like to create opportunities for families, youth and seniors alike to embrace healthier lifestyles and stronger connections.
“I am heartened to see this vision take shape, and I look forward to Jalan Kayu residents making this space their own – a home for sport, wellness and community life.”
TSA @ Jalan Kayu is expected to open sometime during the first quarter of 2026. Members of the community can register their interest in programmes and facilities at TSA @ Jalan Kayu here.
